We cannot wait to welcome you into Next Chapter Cafe, located on the second floor of the Historic Village Books in Fairhaven, overlooking beautiful Bellingham Bay, for this unique sunset art experience with Miss Rachel.
In this painting class, you'll learn from an experienced artist and art teacher, Ms. Rachel Simpson, on how to paint a Hummingbird onto a 9"x12" canvas. You'll be able to paint your art, and finish to take it home on the same day. Each student will choose between floral and botanical templates that will encircle your own bird, such as Ginkgo Leaves, a Crescent Moon, or a Ring of Flowers.
Ms. Rachel is a longtime Bellingham community member, has over 15 years of experience in arts education, is certified in Arts Ed K-12 for Washington state, has taught in Seattle, internationally in the UK, and locally in both Skagit and Whatcom Counties, within multiple schools…
